5D Slow Motion Test
Update, the DIY project can be seen here: http://vimeo.com/28337385
Just testing some slow motion footage to see how it would look. 5DII files were converted to mt2 stream and then edited in Sony Vegas.
Used a DIY Skater Dolly, more similar footage from that dolly test here: http://cheesycam.com/new-pico-flex-table-dolly/
Absolutely NO SLOW MOTION software. Just added it to Sony Vegas and stretched it in time line. If you take a 'Fast' action shot and slow it down, doesn't look very good. If you take a 'Slow' action shot and slow it down, it looks like the footage above.
You can see the real time video in my Sample#2 video at vimeo.com/groups/5DMKII/videos/6353034
She poured slowly, I panned slowly, then slowed it down even more in Vegas. It just looks weird because there is the motion of the pour slowed down as well as the motion of the panning slowed down. Also it pans around the subject, rather than away (like a tripod head would). Came out pretty cool.
